I was surprised to find out this shade turned out to be darker on me than the lip swatch on the lighter model in the photo. I wasn't mad, just surprised because I'm certain my skin tone is deeper than hers and yet hers is lighter than mine. Anytime I get a lip shade darker than it's advertising photos I'm pretty forgiving. The darker the better, the lighter the more intimidating for me. The color reminded me of the Powers collaboration. It's a shade that would have went nicely with the other classic lipsticks sold in that collaboration and has the same outstanding formula as well.
